You would read it like:
Then you would want to go to the Island as soon as possible so you would just grab your stuff like:
Then telling Your parents you are going as you run out of the house:
Trying to get to your Island while all the normal people get in your way:
Finnaly reaching that island and realise its the place you belong:
Seeing all of your fellow shippers for the first time:
